Marvellous Melbourne at Millers

Join us for a series of three talks featuring an insight into Melbourne’s fascinating past. The venue will be lovely Millers’ Homestead in Boronia, itself a part of the history of Melbourne.

The talks will be followed by Devonshire tea in the warmth of dining room.

Author Lisa Lang will introduce us to the fabulous world of E W Cole of Cole’s Book Arcade and Funny Picture Book fame.

Madame Brussels
Numbers 32 and 34 Lonsdale Street housed the first brothel owned by Caroline time Hodgson ‘Madame Brussels’. By the time of her death in 1908 she was the subject of legend. Join author Lenny Robinson for the life and career of ‘Madame Brussels’.
