James Phelan is passionate about literature; he holds an MA in writing and is a member of a number of Australian writers’ organizations.
His first book Literati was published in 2005 to considerable acclaim. The year 2006 saw the publication of his first novel Fox Hunt drawing on characters he first developed as a teenager. This book proved so popular that it has been followed by two further books Patriot Act (2007) and Blood Oil (2008) featuring hero Lachlan Fox. His fourth novel Liquid Gold will be published in August.
