Tony Birch is a widely published and versatile author who has written short stories, poetry and non-fiction. He was Senior Curator of the Koori Voices exhibition at the Melbourne Museum's Bunjilaka Centre. Tony has a Master of Arts in Creative Writing and PhD in Urban cultures and Histories. He currently teaches creative writing at Melbourne University. His recent book Shadowboxing was voted amongst the five most popular books in the Reading Victoria campaign.
