Jack the Ripper - A Study in Fear

1888 London: The world’s first serial killer is on the loose

In August 1888, in the narrow laneways of London’s Whitechapel, a series of gruesome discoveries are made. These are no ordinary killings and this is no ordinary killer; the Metropolitan Police are baffled and are taunted in the press by perpetrator. Five women are murdered, their bodies mutilated and London’s East End is frozen by fear. But just like the London fog, the killer disappears without a trace.

Join historian Adrian Puckering for a trip back to foggy London 1888.
