The Helmeted Honeyeater : Bringing it back from the brink

Did you know that the Helmeted Honeyeater is Victoria's bird emblem and a critically endangered species? Did you know that the last naturally occurring colony is found in Yarra Ranges?

Volunteers are leading the way in bringing this beautiful bird back from the edge of extinction. If you would like to know more, come along to an illustrated talk at Belgrave Library by Kieran Martin from the Friends of the Helmeted Honeyeater.
